Royal Sundaram signs MoU with Bihar govt

CHENNAI: Royal Sundaram Alliance Insurance Company has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bihar government to offer health insurance. This health insurance is under the government-sponsored Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojna (RSBY) to the below-poverty-line (BPL) families in Sheohar, Vaishali and Kishengunj. This scheme is likely to help more than nine lakh BPL families.

Mr Ajay Bimbhet, MD, Royal Sundaram, said, “We are committed to providing good and quality healthcare to the most unaffordable class of people. Renewal of the MoU is a testimony of our untiring contribution to the BPL families for whom accessing healthcare facilities is just a far fetched dream.”

Royal Sundaram along with the Bihar government will be fulfilling the demands in rural health at the micro level.
